Vanessa graduated with a JD from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2009, after receiving an Honours B.A. with high distinction from the University of Toronto. As a major in Italian and Sociology, she spent her third year on exchange in Italy at the University of Siena. As well as Italian, Vanessa has studied Spanish and French.
During her time at Osgoode, Vanessa participated in the Intensive Criminal Law Program. She was also a regular contributor to the student newspaper, the Obiter Dicta.
After spending the summer of 2008 at NGA, Vanessa returned to complete her articling term in August of 2009. She was called to the Ontario Bar in 2010, and joined the firm as an associate the same year. Vanessa deals with all aspects of claims arising from separation and divorce. She is experienced in mediation, arbitration and litigation, as well as the drafting of domestic contracts.
Vanessa has published articles in the Criminal Law Quarterly and the Canadian Family Law Quarterly. She has also been a regular contributor to educational materials for the Law Society of Upper Canada and the Osgoode Professional Development Centre.
